It has been observed that many times soil analysis is done to find out the soil nutrient status. However, sometimes no affirmative or corrective action is taken to justify that analysis. Interpretation of analytical values is critical in understanding the nutrient status and productivity of the soil in question.
Nutrient Status is defined as the inherent strength of the soil to hold nutrients whereas Soil Productivity is the actual capability of the soil to provide nutrients to the growing crop at the correct stage in its life cycle. With the ever-changing agro-conditions, the high demands on food production, and the increasing cost of production, it is imperative for farmers to understand the correlation between soil nutrient status, soil productivity, nutrient use efficiency and crop growth so as to maximize his output on his investment.
Every soil sample we analyse is extracted for nutrients with a customized extractant suited and catered for the pH of the sample
Tissue analysis helps the farmer monitor the growth and understand the nutrient status of the crop in the vegetative, reproductive and developmental stages.
Analysis is carried out to understand the suitability of water for agricultural use. Rectification measures can be taken accordingly.
We test for Organic Manure using FCO methods. The heavy metal analysis is also provided.
This test is specifically conducted for soil-rectification products like limestone, gypsum and dolomite. It helps the farmer gauge the quality of the material.
RAL is the First Lab in India to do pH adjusted method of Lab Analysis.
Cutting-edge technology teamed with years of ground-level experience has made us leaders in our field both locally and globally.
As pioneers of micronutrient technology in India, the Institute for Micronutrient Technology (IMT) has been the forerunner in the technical development of multi-nutrient products to cater to the specific needs of the farmer and the crop.
RAL-LAB in Mysore has top of the line equipment like:

For the last five decades, IMT has been concentrating on concepts of Balanced Plant Nutrition (BPN) with stress on micronutrients. In this effort, our main focus has been on Soil and Crop continuum. We provide solutions to optimise the production level and to minimize the overall cost of production.
