HOW TO COLLECT WATER SAMPLES:
- Samples should not be taken at a place exposed to rain or sun.
- Sampling instrument and sample bags should be clean and dry and free from any contamination.
- To draw a representative sample, the contents of each lot to be sampled should be mixed well and then a composite sample of 1kg should be collected.
- Sample should be placed in a thick gauged polythene bag.
Sample should be labelled with all the following details.
- Name of the farmer
- Complete Address-including Taluka and District
- E-mail ID
- Telephone number
- Crop of interest
