Quality Testing of Soil Rectification Products

Soil rectification products can cause a change in pH and include carbonates, sulphates, oxides or hydroxides of calcium and magnesium. When looking at liming materials it is often hard to distinguish one material from another.

At RAL Lab, quality standards like pH, Total Neutralizing Value (TNV), Calcium Carbonate Equivalence (CCE), Fineness, and Effective Neutralizing Value (ENV) are used to determine the efficacy of the product on hand.

PLEASE NOTE:

Analysis Data obtained from RAL/IMT methods of analysis cannot be compared to the data obtained from conventional methods of analysis. At RAL/IMT Labs we use a customised pH adjusted method of analysis.

Please call us at 0821-2974333 for a detailed technical explanation of the analysis.
