TISSUE SAMPLING PROCEDURE:
- Sample MUST be drawn in the morning for best results.
- 4th, 5th and 6th active leaf from the tip is recommended for most crops.
- Samples should be taken before any foliar sprays are administered.
Sample should be labelled with all the following details.
- Name of the farmer
- Complete Address-including Taluka and District
- E-mail ID
- Telephone number
- Crop of interest
How much sample should be collected
Sample should have a minimum of 40-50 leaves.
How to pack the sample
Leaves should be wrapped in perforated newspaper to avoid rotting in transit.
DO NOT use plastic bags for tissue samples.
